Perhaps this is an example of the chickens coming home to roost.

What happened to you, Max? The lovable, bumbling, always ‘skint’ Borken who aspired to greater deeds is now frequently driving up prices in bid wars and insulting other bidders because his ego can’t handle losing a single shield. With every passing week I see more snide, condescending comments made toward other Guru users. These other people have just as much a right to bid on items as you and I do. [PhD] is certainly not the be-all end-all of this game; it’s just a guild of some people who collect(ed) things. I’m sickened by the airs put on by some of our members on these forums, and the mistreatment of other players who are also part of our GW community. There’s nothing classy or gentlemanly about the way some of you have been behaving. You must know better, and you ought to be ashamed. I’m not a perfect paragon of virtue by any means, by have some respect for people.

Comments like those made in this thread and here reflect poorly on all of us as collectors and as a guild. Stop it.

Ban away if you need to Cosy, but something needs to be said.

..i think all that calli said there its called GREED..i know Max for quite some time ..and i think he its one of the finnest guy i have ever met in GW ..he its an example for me..i would probably go nuts too if i see ppl overbidding on the ittems i like the most.
